2016 Global Endurance Championship (Open Rank FM + PC)

GSREC is back after a long absence for it’s second season! This series will be held on both Forza Motorsport 6 and Project Cars, allowing for a true crown jewel of endurance racing. Start times are to be determined.

20-Feb-16 Daytona Sports Car Circuit – 12 Hours – FM6
16-Apr-16 Sebring Full – 6 Hours – FM6
11-Jun-16 Le Mans – 12 Hours – PC
20-Aug-16 Spa-Francorchamps – 6 Hours – PC
8-Oct-16 Nurburgring GP – 6 Hours – PC
17-Dec-16 Road Atlanta – 6 Hours – FM6

Question, will car changes be allowed in between games? Like P1 Forza, GT3 PCars. Mostly curiosity. Samson and I are thinking P1, really hoping for a third car to race with Blonde and us.

How long in night and darkness are we driving and when is the transitions, what stint numbers.

Stint 1 (7am-9am eastern) DAY

Stint 2 (9am-11am eastern) DAY

Stint 3 (11am-1pm eastern) NIGHT

Stint 4 (1pm-3pm eastern) NIGHT

Stint 5 (3pm-5pm eastern) DAY

Stint 6 (5pm-7pm eastern) DAY

For those making liveries:

- Numbers will be open, as opposed to the last season.
- A GSR logo should be visible on both sides of the car.
- All number boards should have white numbers on a colored background determined by class:
P1=Red
P2=Blue
GT=Green
-Number boards should also contain the GSR logo.

Based on previous years, any idea about how many cars we can expect? Do people generally sign up pretty late?

There's at least 2 GT teams that are expected but haven't signed up yet (Nightmare, Woody, and Insayne in the Bentley and Murphy's Laaawl and Blood in another car.) We definitely need more prototypes though.

That being said, we had 24 sign-ups two years ago.

Due to the lack of P2 entries, K Motorsports will be moving up to the P1 class in the #7 Toyota TS040 Hybrid.
