Hey I don't have Homestead?

Basic, the only reason it was included was so that we could race at less visited tracks.

So your options are to sit that one out or get the DLC . . .

Lotus Evora :)

Is this a series where you only get 1 car or we can switch cars every race like the Subaru vs Evo's?
Fri 02 Sep 2016, 06:38
You can change cars. Makes each race less predictable.

Starting upcoming Tuesday night. I've tested few cars and they have wildly varying fuel consumption so make sure you check your mileage.

Prague races will be 12 laps each. I know my Cayman can go 12 laps easy. Some cars won't. Verify your car choice and fuel strategy if you don't want to be disappointed!

Don't jump online last minute tonight, guys. There is a pretty sizeable Xbox system update.

Fun racing last night for a few laps with bck and charger. But can we think about banning the Porsche and Alfa? They are the 2 cars that don't have to pit and have a huge advantage
Wed 07 Sep 2016, 16:42
I love the alfa, but to go along with Dans point, they are the two fastest cars by a decent margin and don't have to pit. Maybe add a couple laps to the races just so they would have to stop? And start the first race 15 min earlier?
Wed 07 Sep 2016, 17:02
Why not just add one mandatory pit for all races.
Wed 07 Sep 2016, 17:04
I do see your point. The classification of these cars is rather odd. I do not want to change the formula of the race too much but considering your feedback how about any/all winning vehicles to be taken off the list permanently?

There are 6 races left and more than 6 cars to choose from. We can cross Porsche off the list as a winning car. Alfa, not yet but likely soon. I think it will keep the remaining 3 weeks a lot more interesting and unpredictable, which is the key objective of the Tuesday series.

We may all end up racing the Evora for the last race! That car IS fast; just not easy to control.

Lotus is also plenty fast as well, if driven by not-Blonde. Porsche still had plenty of fuel left at the end so adding couple additional laps may not be enough and we will exceed 25 minute race duration target (not a must but don't want it too long).

Even before pitting the Porsche showed clear dominance so a mandatory pit would not ultimately affect the outcome of the race.

@TopSoCalledGear, what do you mean start the 1st race 15 min earlier? Start at 8:45pm? I'd like to have the day of the week and start time nailed down so it is easy for everyone to remember; Tuesday night 9pm all the time. If the finish time is too late, then I can certainly target finishing the event within 1 hour.

I think he ment if we added laps start it earlier to finish at the same time. But I like the idea of crossing it off the list after it wins a race.
