1972 Formula One World Championship (PC Level 2)

January 7th - Spanish Grand Prix

January 21st - Monaco Grand Prix

February 4th - Belgian Grand Prix (Zolder)

February 18th - French Grand Prix (Rouen)

March 4th - British Grand Prix (Brands Hatch)

March 18th - German Grand Prix (Nurburgring)

April 1st - Italian Grand Prix

April 15th - United States Grand Prix (Watkins Glen)

*Races will begin at 15:00 eastern / 20:00 gmt

The 1970 Formula One Championship season saw 4 different winners in 8 races with Mr Blonde claiming the World Drivers Championship. Will he be able to defend his championship in 1972?

This season will see the Belgian Grand Prix move from Spa to Zolder, the addition of the Spanish Grand Prix, and the 20.81 km 154 turn Nurburgring will be the site of the German Grand Prix. Monaco, Rouen, Brands Hatch, Monza and Watkins Glen are all retained from the 1970 season.

I'm running like 15&12. Only the 1 straight so not a lot of speed needed in straight line. That and the diff to get power down faster helped me

Race is 25 laps, so you can adjust your fuel accordingly.

Thanks I'll give that a try, any idea what diff settings you used, I played about with the one for accel think I turned it up to about 35 but didn't notice much difference, do I need to go higher?

I did a few laps tonight and agree dakinca got to take a bit off I think to drive clean laps, think it's going to feel like a long race on Saturday, ( or maybe not if crash out )

Just wondering if my team mate (colibrim)gets a special invitation to this weeks race, it will help me in the constructors and hopefully get enough funding to enter the team in the endurance championship

Unfortunately not. He will have to wait until he's rank 60 to enter any level 2 series.

FYI, the GSREC is open rank. So no worries there! :)

Any one got any practice times? I was mid 1.36s, is it a bit slow? Me brother said he's at 1.35
Did a quick race with ai and don't think I completed one lap after 20 restarts couldn't believe it
