Sports Car Shootout (FM Level 1)

Drive some of the world's most exotic production sports cars each Wednesday in this 4 week entry level championship! Races will take place each Wednesday in March at 21:00 eastern / 2:00 gmt (Thursday)

CARS:

Ferrari 458 Speciale
Ferrari 488 GTB
Ford GT
Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 (only AWD)
McLaren 640S Coupe
Noble M600
Porsche 911 GT2 RS

CALENDAR:

March 8th - Rounds 1 & 2 - Indianapolis (Full & Full Alt) - 10 Laps

March 15th - Rounds 3 & 4 - COTA (West & Full) - 10 Laps

March 22nd - Rounds 5 & 6 - Yas Marina (North & Full) - 10 Laps

March 29th - Round 7 - Le Mans (Full) - 12 Laps


Additional Info:

- Drivers in a team (2) must choose same car

- No switching cars after series has started

- Winning driver receives 5% power reduction after each win

I thought that was a great first round. Good turnout, and good battles. It didn't help that no one knew the reverse circuit but that made it an interesting first lap. Great series GRD.

I wanted to go to less frequented tracks. Indy-Alt, it turns out, is not a favourite of many . . .

Good to see good turn out + variety of cars!

So next wk: 5% power reduction group = Charger & Murphys L

As most of you know already, the last race is at LeMans where power is king.

I actually really like COTA and Yas Marinara (as charger puts it). Very technical circuits. I'm looking forward to those.

The racing in race 1 was great; race 2 was great due to almost nobody having a clue where they were going. lol

I'll have to miss next week, but I'm looking forward Yas Marina and Le Mans.

My Lambo was surprisingly decent at COTA. I'm hoping for the same at YM.

I unfortunately had to miss as well. I worked late and had a sprinkler pipe burst in the backyard. I spent most of the evening replacing it. Not a fun evening. I'll most definitely be there for Le Mans.

You guys just wanted to avoid power reduction; don't try to hide it. I did it honorably by not winning. ;O
