2017 Global Endurance Championship (PC & FM)

In 2014, it took Wagon/Dave/Blonde, Carter/Macace and Insayne/Woody/Nightmare 36 hours to earn the right the be called champions. In 2016, it took SECR (Copper/Marko) and SamKel (Samson/Maverick) 48 hours to earn that same right. We won't know until December who will add their names to the list of GSREC champions; but we do know it will take them a record 54 hours complete with all of the countless euphoric highs and crushing lows that come with multi-class P1 & GT racing on 6 of the world's greatest endurance race circuits.

Grab a friend or two (or drive solo if you have no friends) and get behind the wheel of one of today's finest LMP 1 or GT3 cars for the ultimate test of endurance.

This championship will again take place on both FM and PC, with 3 races taking place on FM (Daytona, Nurbugring and Road Atlanta) and 3 taking place on PC (Silverstone, Le Mans and Spa). This year, Silverstone will replace Sebring and Spa has been extended from a 6 hour to a 12 hour event.

February 11th - 12 Hours of Daytona (FM)
April 22nd - 6 Hours of Silverstone (PC)
June 10th - 12 Hours of Le Mans (PC)
August 12th - 6 Hours of Nurburgring (FM)
October 14th - 12 Hours of Spa (PC)
December 16th - 6 Hours of Road Atlanta (FM)

Great great show this weekend. Gratzy to Count on his GSREC debut. You did great man! Good job to FCA again for another solo running and even though being DQ'd for a stint, finishing so strong and getting a podium in class.

Congrats to SECR for their 1 and 2 in GT, and to Dead Arm for an AMAZING race, especially running all 6 hours solo on a wheel. Bummer for Jay racing being DC'd but great showing overall. The classes are going to continue to get more and more competitive as the season continues. Can't wait for Le Mans to get here.

I'm not certain, but if you're looking for a ride in P1, Dead Arm Tzar is on the lookout for a teammate. In GT, Lord Sarverious is in need of a teammate. Get in contact with them and see what they say.

Indeed it does look like Ardent SECR will be needing a second driver for the remainder of the season. Should anyone wish to throw their hat in the ring just let me know.

I will say that I'm looking for someone who can commit to the full season, is willing to do practice and setup sessions before each race. We're looking to win the P1 class, not just make up the numbers 😉

With the rescheduling of the DTM races, we will be hosting an official 12 Hours of Le Mans practice Saturday (27th) from 15:00 eastern - 17:00 eastern / 20:00 BST - 22:00 BST

Conditions will be set to day and clear

I'll be there! Ardent SECR are still looking for a third driver. We have the very talented Welty on board, but he can only do 1 stint. So if anyone is interested, get in touch. This could be your golden opportunity to facestomp Samkel racing, motivation enough methinks 😉
