2017 Global Endurance Championship (PC & FM)

In 2014, it took Wagon/Dave/Blonde, Carter/Macace and Insayne/Woody/Nightmare 36 hours to earn the right the be called champions. In 2016, it took SECR (Copper/Marko) and SamKel (Samson/Maverick) 48 hours to earn that same right. We won't know until December who will add their names to the list of GSREC champions; but we do know it will take them a record 54 hours complete with all of the countless euphoric highs and crushing lows that come with multi-class P1 & GT racing on 6 of the world's greatest endurance race circuits.

Grab a friend or two (or drive solo if you have no friends) and get behind the wheel of one of today's finest LMP 1 or GT3 cars for the ultimate test of endurance.

This championship will again take place on both FM and PC, with 3 races taking place on FM (Daytona, Nurbugring and Road Atlanta) and 3 taking place on PC (Silverstone, Le Mans and Spa). This year, Silverstone will replace Sebring and Spa has been extended from a 6 hour to a 12 hour event.

February 11th - 12 Hours of Daytona (FM)
April 22nd - 6 Hours of Silverstone (PC)
June 10th - 12 Hours of Le Mans (PC)
August 12th - 6 Hours of Nurburgring (FM)
October 14th - 12 Hours of Spa (PC)
December 16th - 6 Hours of Road Atlanta (FM)

I know it's a long shot but could we possibly make it Tuesday & Thursday or Tuesday & Wednesday? I can't make it on Wednesday or Thursday. Also I know the Tuesday series starts next week so we could do it before that? But it's a long shot, I know.

Since I won't be on Wednesday (but I'll able to make it Thursday), I'll run a Monday night impromptu session if anyone wants to join. Likely time will be 7:30PM EST with two 1 Hr. sessions, day and night.

Just need to know the room settings, if any GSR Admin can share it.

Also, OT (off-topic) but can we replace Silverstone with Bathurst? It's a crazy suggestion, I know.

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Redbird Racing is excited to announce it has signed a 3 race partnership with Lincolnshire, Il based technology provider CDW. With this agreement, Redbird Racing will become a true All-Illinois team in it's bid to capture the 2017 GSR Endurance Championship. With the initial test livery proving to be popular among competitors, the team will carry motifs of this design into the final product, with a distinctive black, red, and white paint scheme that is sure to catch the eye of those tuned in to this weekends 12 Hours of Daytona.

Impromptu Practice will be hosted tonight at 7:30pm EST. If you're a diehard Patriots fan like me, you get a performance boost that will come in effect in the second half of each session.

2 sessions, first session in the day with the second one at night. Just need to know the room settings if a GSR admin can point me in the right direction.

Just put your GT down below if anyone's interested. My feelings won't be hurt if I'm the only one there lol.
