Round 1 - January 27th - Daytona Road Course
Round 2 - February 24th - Donington GP
Round 3 - March 10th - Watkins Glen GP
Round 4 - March 24th - Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe
Round 5 - April 7th - Sonoma GP
Round 6 - April 28th - Silverstone Classic
Round 7 - May 5th - Monza GP

1987 Porsche 962C
1988 Jaguar XJR-9
1989 Nissan R89C
1989 Sauber C9 Mercedes-Benz

*Le Mans versions of cars will only be allowed at Le Mans


*All races will start at 15:00 eastern

Round 1 will now take place January 27th at the scheduled time (15:00 eastern)

This weekend's race could be very interesting. Looks like it may or may not rain at 3pm on Saturday.

Them priorities lol . Prob would have been better to have the race on the following Saturday. Gives things more of a speed week feel kicking of with the group c race followed by gsrec qualifying

Note to everyone, particularly at Turn 1. If you spin, PLEASE hold the brake, so you don’t go into the path of other guys. My race was ruined today because of a Nissan who didn’t do this. I lost 2 laps and couldn’t really come back from it. Looking forward to the next couple of tracks now where there are more corners for the Jaaaaaaaag

Don't give it up just yet!! Hopefully the biggest bugs will be fixed soon by SMS.
I have to say, apart from a few rallycross adventures the race went pretty smooth for me.

I googled what happened to me and this the first thing that came up. It seems switching from my qualifying setup to the race setup between sessions also changed my pit strategy for some reason even though one would assume they are separate entities, but oh well. I had to pit on lap 2 and this left me driving the entire race on blue tyres, sliding all over the place and losing over a second per lap. Ended up having to retire because it was just undriveable and I couldn’t keep it on the track.
I’ll try again next time and hopefully now that I’m aware of this “quirk” in the game I’ll have no issues next time lol

I’d also like to put forward a suggestion for future races regarding the weather setting. I think it may be a good idea to confirm which weather setting will be used on the day of the race eg medium cloud, light cloud etc. I’m a fan of having to keep track of the real life weather conditions but in reality one person’s interpretation of what the weather website is saying can be a lot different to others. The website said intermittent clouds which I took to mean as medium cloud and I think some others did as well, so this is the setting I used to practice and set up the car. But in the actual race lobby the weather was set to heavy cloud which reduced the track temp significantly and it caught me off guard a bit. Again just a suggestion, not complaining or anything. Lol
