Does anyone have any times for Donington?
Fri 23 Feb 2018, 14:23
The patch that released today featured some updates focused on the Group C cars, including the tire model. Will likely change setups, just a heads-up to anyone that has practiced and has a setup dialed in.

I’m assuming the date will be set to May 1st as mentioned previously in this thread?

Just a heads up for everyone who wants to dial in their setup for the weather; I live down the road from Donington and it’s bright and sunny outside with pretty much zero clouds. It would be like summer if it weren’t fecking freezing, so I’m guessing the in game weather will be set to clear.

I will have some guests today (gained another year of experience in life) so I am not yet sure if I can make it tonight. We'll see what today brings.

I'm in the same boat as Basher but I think I'm guaranteed to miss tonight's race. I was quite keen to do this.

Happy Birthday? I assume is what you were saying. Have fun!

It was a rather uneventful race, which is good lol. Been a fun series to run in.

Room permitting Wild Potato racing will be attempting to run as a one off this week. Due to not attending the Nordschlife round of the group a series we have money in our budget to rent a Sauber and make the short drive to our home track. We look forward to seeing you all at the races.

Not gonna make the race tonight unfortunately. I have to pick my mum up from the train station and I won’t be home until about 8:10 so looks like I’ll just miss it.
Sat 10 Mar 2018, 16:39
Drive faster! That has not been a problem with you before! 😉
Sat 10 Mar 2018, 17:09
Haha! Her train arrives at 7:52 and it’s about a 15 minute drive back to my house, I will step on it but I will miss qualifying for sure unless there’s a delay in getting the lobby set up
Sat 10 Mar 2018, 18:49
Scratch that! I’m gonna be able to make the race after all

Haha thanks, man! That was a fun back and forth battle we had both on track and through the pit cycle. It's a shame you had the issue with the game taking longer to fix the car than it should have because that would of been an interesting fight to the finish.

Also, I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking on the pace lap. By far the most embarrassing thing I've done in a league race.

So, learn from my race. If your car is tight, spin out and tap the wall with the back end and accrue about 2% damage on the rear. Then the car will turn better and run faster.

Your results may vary, but it worked well for me.

Also Foxy2111, sorry about the contact in the esses, I'm actually surprised I was able to save the car. Just a shame it wasn't without hitting you.

No apology necessary mate those esses were pretty sketchy for the first few laps, and we both came out of it pretty clean!

Looking forward to Le Mans, could be the best race on the calendar.

Yeah it would've been close for sure! I'll make sure damage repair is turned off for future races so the same doesn't happen again.

Also I'm sure I've done worse than that back in the Forza days lol. I seem to remember driving backwards up the pit straight at Long Beach in an IndyCar in one of the early races lmao.
