As voted by you, our first ever official series on Dirt Rally will pit Peugeot vs Seat in the 2-Litre World Rally Cup! You will have 1 full week to complete each rally.

May 7th - Rallye Monte Carlo

Stage 1 - Route de Turini
Stage 2 - Col de Turini - Descente
Stage 3 - Route de Turini Montée
Stage 4 - Pra d’Alart
Stage 5 - Approche du Col de Turini - Montée

Three stages in and I’ve hit a dozen trees, a small handful of mail boxes, and killed three spectators. Finland is off to a great start.

I made it accross the finish of the final stage on two rims, with no radiator, and a sputtering engine. That rally kicked my ass. At one point the game suggested I retire. I’ve never even seen that message before. At least I finished.

Just completed Finland. Lost my headlights around the mid way point of stage 7 which was absolutely terrifying, but I was able to keep it in one piece. Ended up with a 50 minutes and 20 second rally. I don't expect it to hold up at all but I was able to avoid the trees for the most part so I'm rather pleased. Best of luck to everyone between now and Sunday night!

We have our first official retirement in Finland. THR cptgreen12's engine let go on stage 8. He was running in 3rd position at the time.

3rd in points and Monte Carlo winner, Ricardo crashes out on Stage 1 in Finland.

We are just glad Ricardo was able to walk away!

So, Stage 4 was a bitch of a time. I had this glitch I've never seen before where my windshield and side window both started to become progressively more and more blocky and pixelated as the stage progressed. Slowed me down a lot but I managed to survive and will be finishing off stages 7-9 later tonight.

I posted a clip of it on the club if you're curious about seeing the glitch. Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else!

Just finished the rally. Overall happy with my time but definitely could've done better on the last 2 stages. Always bottle it.

I knocked my lights out on Stage 7 again...this seems to be a new tradition for me. Despite the Stage 4 glitch and driving blind through much of Stage 7 I'm rather satisfied with my effort at Wales. I'll be curious to see how it holds up once it's all said and done. I'm trying my best to fight my way into the top 5 in the championship!
