GTE World Tour (PC2)

Due to popular demand, the GTE World Tour has finally come to Global Sim Racing to close out 2018!

Over 8 weeks from October 27th - December 15th we will travel to 8 world class circuits in a battle for manufacturer and driver supremacy!


October 27th - Circuit of The Americas
November 3rd - Fuji
November 10th - Silverstone
November 17th - Algarve
November 24th - Nurburgring GP
December 1st - Monza
December 8th - Spa-Francorchamps
December 15th - Daytona

All races will begin at 15:00 Eastern

There will be a Driver's Championship & Manufacturer's Championship

I have to pull out of this championship boys , my Saturday evenings are gone for me till after Christmas , best of luck to everyone

Race conditions will be whatever the radar shows come race time. As it stands right now it looks like it should stay dry. Rain is well off the coast and barely moving.

Loved racing in the rain at Algarve Yesterday.
Still no clue how these rain tires cooled down so much. It was like driving on ice after a few laps. Anyone any clue on how to keep those up to temp in the rain (apart from scrubbing them on the tarmac, which I surely did)?

Lower tyre pressures and decreasing negative camber. Having too much negative camber can prevent the outside wheel temps from warming up. Those are probably the biggest factors in controlling tyre temps in the wet.

Will do some test runs with these tips! Negative camber indeed was quite high which was perfect for dry conditions.

Unfortunately I may be out today. I don’t know yet. I’m waiting to hear from the tire shop about when my car will be ready to go pick up.

I can't attend tonight's race. Got my wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday so the majority of the pain and discomfort is still around. Don't think I could concentrate for a full hour.

I’ve gotten pretty good at completely botching up the first lap. Sorry about the tag Nightmare. Thankfully it didn’t seem to affect you all too much. I had fun trying to get back towards the front though. Good racing.
