1980's World Rally Championship (DR)

Step back in time to the 1980's and travel the world in your choice of the BMW M3 Evo, Ford Sierra RS500 or Renault 5 Turbo in the 1980's World Rally Championship! This series will begin January 14th and take us to February 25th...which is just one day before Dirt Rally 2 is released! You will have one full week to complete each rally, with service stops at stage 4 and 7.

The 1980's World Rally Championship is officially underway! Rally Sweden is now open! You'll have exactly 1 week to complete the 9 stages, with save points and repairs before stage 4 and 7. Best of luck to all drivers!

We have three eager beavers to kick off Rally Sweden! Ricardo, Woody and Thorza have all wasted now time getting started.

Running order after 3 stages:

I guess having not touched DR in months I sort of forgot that snow is slippery. I must have been facing the wrong way at least 10 times in Stage 1.

Also, am I the only one in the BMW?!

Hey drivers, after looking and filtering on Racenet, i noticed only 4 out of 10 wheel drivers. A good wheel can be costly, but i got mine lil over a yr ago on Amazon for $100, there's 2 types at that price. It doesn't have force feedback like i want and one day hope to get, but after getting used to, it's not that bad as you can see in my first event. Just wanted to throw that out there in case you want a wheel, but haven't got one yet because of those huge prices, don't blame ya there. The only way i also will play/drive is in car cam, one with wheel in view. Just saying because it's a cheap wheel

Getting a wheel is something I've been wanting to do for several years now, but I've just always been hung up on the price; especially these days being in university with student loans etc it's just difficult for me to justify the price. Would be totally worth it though! lol
