Everything was going reasonably well for me through the first 3 stages, then on stage 4 I caught a bump on the left side and it sent my car to the right, making me slide down a fairly small hill into a tree and forcing a DNF. I was shocked. I don't think I've seen such a soft retirement on DR before.

I posted the clip of it on the club.

My rally was going pretty well. Until I broke my headlights near the start of the night stage. Thankfully, there was a full moon and I was able to guide it in without too much trouble. Greece is by far the rally I have the most trouble with, there are so many random rocks, and fallen away bits of road it's hard to keep the car on track and intact. Over all it was a fun challenge, these f2 cars are pretty wild.

Ugh. F2 cars are awesome (even) in Dirt Rally, but the Acropolis Rally is not the best stage for a FWD shootout, and getting used to DR's weight transfer physics after a long stint with Dirt 4 was a major pain. Regardless, I'm quite happy with my results - even as I accrued almost a minute in penalties as I got my car stuck on the crests on the edge of the road...

Really enjoyed this again. Glad I was able to sneak in last minute. What I didn't enjoy was my tire falling off before the first checkpoint of the final stage and having to practically do the entire thing with 3 wheels!
