This week we travel to Colorado for the famed Pikes Peak Hill Climb!

It will begin May 23rd at 12:00 eastern and will end Tuesday May 30th at 12:00 eastern (exactly 1 week) Tuning is open and you may service your car at the end of stage 3.

Cars:

- Audi Sport Quattro

- Peugeot 205

- Peugeot 405

Rally:

Stage 1 - Sector 1 (6.3 km) - Afternoon, Sunny

Stage 2 - Sector 2 (6.4 km) - Afternoon, Sunny

Stage 3 - Sector 3 (7.8 km) - Afternoon, Sunny

Stage 4 - Full (19.9 km) - Sunset, Clear

I just did my hill climb (20:38.915) and discovered for whatever reason we have to make 2 runs on each stage and it takes the better time. Is this typical of hill climbs? Anyway I didn't plan it. Just wanted to give a heads up!

I somehow managed to do a 3:42.457 and 3:42.774 in stage 2. I'm slow but I'm consistent...I guess. lol

Last time I ran the full Pikes Peak course in a videogame was back in the days of the original CMR Dirt. The 405 is, sadly, not my beloved Celica - and handles a bit like a pig. But I tried to channel my inner Ari Vatanen, and I'm quite happy with my time (which is a full minute under Ari's 1988 record - something smells fishy here!).

I see you lead Clyde by 0.333 after 3 stages. Pretty crazy!

I'm keeping everyone in suspense . . .

My vision started getting blurry after the Stage 3 so I had to abort. The full course will be done before the deadline . . . :)
