Brabham struck first in the opening round of the 1967 Formula One World Championship at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. At the end of the very eventful 18 lap race, Anglo American Racers driver, BCKracer71 stood atop the podium; having made his way from the back of the field after a turn 1 incident with the #7 of OctoberDusk sent him to the pits for minor repairs. Dusk would also recover to finish in 5th position. This is BCKracer71's first GSR road course victory.
Brabham finished 1st, 3rd, and 5th, while Lotus took 2nd, 4th and 6th.
The Grand Prix cars will now head to Le Mans for the French Grand Prix on July 12th.
