I'm thinking of being something of a factory driver for Ginetta when it comes to GT racing. Of course there is the Junior (GT5), then the GT4 in this series, and if I ever drive GT class in the GSREC It would be neat to wheel the Ginetta GT3. Only problem is I don't think they would ever hire me...more of a ride buy situation, I guess.

I've just started a 90 minute practice session at Watkins Glen. Took a look at the current weather in Watkins Glen, NY and set the weather accordingly. Come and go as you please.

I've done some testing with the assists on these cars to see how things change when you turn them off.

Stability control - No one uses this do they?

Traction control - Even in heavy rain you have to be really trying to get wheelspin - nobody should have a problem turning this off. Saying that you still need to have a bit of throttle control to get the fastest times.

ABS - Unlike Forza, in Project Cars ABS does make you quicker. It's not easy to feel lockup but pad users are getting rumble in the trigger in tomorrow's patch. Just brake a little earlier and listen to the tyres if you can hear them and it's fine. On certain corners if you have your wheels locked when you come off the brakes and turn in you will get a snap spin even if you move your brake balance forward which can be very frustrating. It's much better to be using a bit too little brake pressure and not brake at 100% than it is to be using a little too much brake pressure and having lockup.
