Series Description

The V8 Supercars will be fired up once again for a special 4 hour endurance race around the gruelling Bathurst circuit, who will conquer the mountain and come out victorious?

This series will be run on Forza Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One.

Regulations

Technical Regulations

- All competitors will run the 2011 Ford FG Falcon and the 2011 Holden Commodore VE V8 supercars.


Sporting Regulations

- This race will be run with 2 stints of 2 hours each.

- Each stint must be unertaken by a different driver (2 drivers per team)

- Any number may be displayed on the car for this event.

- Both drivers must run with the same paint.

- Only cockpit view will be allowed.

- TCS, ABS, STM are not allowed.

- Simulation/Normal steering allowed

- Manual w/clutch allowed

- Braking line is forced off

- There will be no full-course caution periods.

- There will be no pace car in use in this series

- There will be no restarts during a race unless lag causes a multi-car accident in the first two laps. 

- The race will begin with a random grid and a standing start.

  

 

Points

Points – Points will be awarded at the end of a race, you will accumulate points towards the driver standings and manufacturer championship dependent upon your finishing position in each race.

Points Awarded

Below are the finishing race positions and corresponding points allocations for the driver.

*1 point will be awarded to the driver who scores the fastest clean lap of the race

3rd. - 20
4th. - 17
5th. - 16
6th. - 15
7th. - 14
8th. - 13
9th. - 12
10th. - 11
11th. - 10
12th. - 9
13th. - 8
14th. - 7
15th. - 6
16th. - 5

Cars / Upgrades

The cars for this series are the 2011 Ford FG Falcon and the 2011 Holden Commodore VE.

Upgrade Parts:

There are no upgrades for this event.

Do Not Install Any Parts That are Not Listed. 

Tuning is allowed for this series and is encouraged. 

Paint

Drivers may include any driver number on their paint, both drivers in the team must run with the same livery. The paint for this race is open to be as simple/complicated as the driver wishes. However, realistic paints are encouraged but are not mandatory.  Offensive/graphic images will not be permitted on a paint.

Reporting Of Race Incidents

Reporting Of Race Incidents – All incidents must be reported directly after the race and not during the race. Race incidents will not be discussed during the race and all replays must be saved by the driver making the complaint because if there is a lag which caused the incident then it will not be visible by somebody else’s replay.

The replay/replays will be reviewed by the administrators and a decision will be made as to whether or not anyone is to blame and if a penalty should be given to any or both drivers.
