Just a reminder that we'll be using the GSR IROC Road setup for this Sunday's race at Watkins Glen Short.

I might miss the race Sunday. Mardi Gras in St Louis is Saturday, so depends how I feel.

Hey Nightmare from your experience and others, you said this should be a little more racing than Daytona because of the difference in tracks?

Correct. Passing here is way easier than Daytona as you aren't depending on the draft of somebody in front or behind you. The exit of turn 4 is really tricky though because the back of the car can step around on you when the track flattens out. That's also a good place to get a run on somebody if they mess up and you don't.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Guess I'm going to run it some this week, instead of just showing up expecting another Daytona haha.

I haven't been able to drive it yet, but is it flat all the way or do you need to lift?

No, you gotta lift in 1, 3 and 4.

Being 10th in the standings, it's not like I'm lighting the world on fire or anything; but I am reasonably pleased with my progress at the mid way point of the season.

Round 1: 13th (finishing ahead of 4 cars)

Round 2: 9th (finishing ahead of 5 cars)

Round 3: 7th (finishing ahead of 6 cars)

All I'm saying is that it's pretty clear Nightmare's days at the top of the standings are numbered.

Looks like I'm holding you off by one solitary point right now. My only goal for the rest of this series is to beat you Blonde. Lofty goal? Perhaps, we shall see. Game on sir.

Just a heads up for this Sunday's race at Daytona Road, we'll be once again using the GSR IROC Road tune. You'll probably have to pop it in 5th gear before turn 1 once up to speed because I made 4th a little too short, but it still works.

On a side note, the next scheduled race for the series is supposed to be at Road America, but I was thinking maybe changing it to Lime Rock. I was just wanting to get a general idea of what you guys think about that before making any sort of decision, though. We haven't got the chance to use Lime Rock yet, so I figured the bullring that it is would fit these perfectly.

I was more leaning towards to that one track in the abandoned airport that looks very conspicuous.

How about the Sonoma NASCAR track? It's short and would be decent racing. I'm fine with like rock taking the place of Road America though.
