Nice to see that mostly everyone in GT so far is within 2.5 seconds of each other.
Tue 18 Mar 2014, 22:04
Well as far as I know there will be no full course cautions. If there is a big crash you just have to hope you are not involved.
Tue 18 Mar 2014, 22:10
There will be no full course cautions. In the event that there is a car (or cars) limping around the track on their way to the pits after an incident they must stay well off of the racing line.

This Sunday at 2:00pm (Eastern) / 6:00pm (GMT) we will be running a race length simulation stint (1 hour 50 minutes) to verify the lobby settings, scoring etc go according to plan. We will also be using this session to learn fuel and tire information and decide if pit stops will be mandatory or not.

Attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended as we want to gain data for as many cars as possible across all 3 classes. This will also be an excellent chance to get some real race situation practice in ahead of our debut in just 2 and a half weeks from now. :)

Sun 23 Mar 2014, 21:06
I'm really sorry about that guys. I was out and it took far longer than I thought it was going to. Some of are are going to start up in about 10 minutes if you want to join.

If that was the actual race I would have finished it but since someone was sitting in the middle of the track on the exit of turn one and I smashed him I decided to quit since it would have messed up the whole point of that practice for me, which was to test tire wear from the start and see how long I could go on fuel so making a pit stop would have defeated that purpose.
