This championship will be taking place between April 4th and May 2nd on Forza Motorsport 5.

That was good fun!, shame I binned it on the first lap of each race, although I had nowhere to go on the second race, bring on Silverstone any tips on tunes greatly appreciated.

Front rear balance is objective,
First corner exit 95 mph achieve (I think).

Temper the turn-in oversteer,
Watch the exit understeer.

Tuning seems to make little change to how the car feels, best time so far with setting:

Time = 1:10.440

Tyre
Front 24.5 Back 24.5

Gearing
Final drive 3.50

Anti roll bars
Front = 25
Back = 30

Diff
Acc = 75%
Dec = 5%

Any tips welcome?

Try this....

Diff
Acc = 20%
Dec = 0%

There are people who are gonna say "why the hell are you running 0% dec!?" Just tell them to grow some balls and hang on, but with this car being so slow it shouldn't be bat shit crazy entering the corner.

Its not set up advice but make sure you practice Maggots and Becketts a lot! Getting a good exit onto the back straight is essential for passing opportunities!

Blonde, I have stiffened up the front ARBs and evened up the springs from the old "standard" tune GRD or someone put out. On my best paps I get 90mph going around the first turn, but getting the turn in angle of the second, just avoiding the cones, in crucial. A little oversteer (which I normally hate) I find helps here, in order to get the car pointed in the right direction, which on full throttle, maintaining momentum, for the final straight.

Had loads of fun with the MINIs since you could really slide them around while full throttle. Found I would generally lose time in the first sector but make it up in the second. Very close racing and Blonde was right...close is good, no matter what the class. (An outing with my brothers at the local go-kart track always proves this point).

Good times around Yas Marina? I saw GRD had a clip but they were both dirty laps... :P

Edit: After some testing I hit a 1:14.3 clean but idk how cause every other time I barely went over the turn 2 curb and it dirtied my lap haha, so on average I am a high 1:14 - 1:15. Just an FYI this is the worst track in Forza. Just on the short circuit alone you can cut turns 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. Just leaves out 3 corners that you have to take legitimately. I know there are no corner cutters in GSR (at least I hope not) so just be on the look out for crazy fast times. This was just for testing purposes but I hit a low 1:12 cutting all the possible corners besides turn 1 which you could technically cut so I guess that leaves two corners on this track that you can't cut at.

Yeah, I tried running clean but it is very difficult on this track. My clip is pretty clean; there was one corner that I grazed. The clip was just to show 1:14~1:16 will be my race pace.

I think we all have to be on the lookout for BLATANT corner cutting.

Yeah it is a tough track, especially in these slow pieces of shit haha. Personally for myself the only corner I have had a problem with consistently was turn 2 and 3 everywhere else I wasn't having a problem. If I hit turn 2 and 3 properly I am consistently half a second faster through that section.

Was struggling with 1:18s in last years model now down to 1:15s with this years good upgrades! Lol helps if I'm in the right bloody car instead of the POS from last year. Might make it tonight. Will be on racing for a bit after I get my hair cut and pop into town for the market but will be on in a hour for practice sessions is anyone would like to join me. Gamertag is : LTD KO Carter
