That was some great racing. It's a bit of a shame that I couldn't find a good pace, but I doubt it'd have changed much if I had, as GRD was almost two seconds a lap quicker than me.

Race 1 was pretty uneventful from my perspective - managed to get quickly to second place, then lost it to GRD. I managed to keep up with him for a while, but eventually I decided to join the cows and eat some grass, and lost him. But hey, I still bought home the first podium finish in three years! Hooray!

Race 2 was definitely more interesting, as I started at the back of the pack and had to make my way through some heavy traffic. The highlight of the weekend was definitely battling for 4th with Rieck; in the end he made a costly mistake and I started pursuing rOwdy for another podium finish, but it was too little too late and I had to settle for 4th place.

Now only Road Atlanta's left. Fingers crossed that it will be a race Sunday that'll run as smooth as this one...

Yeah the second race was a lot of fun. We each pushed each other into mistakes.... mine was jsut a little bit bigger than yours. I want to apologize for getting into majong on the second lap. Looking forward to Road Atlanta.

I was very careful as not to run into anyone and no one ran into me so I'd call that a good race. Overall, not as much mayhem. I think the 2 big contacts were on the front 'crooked' straight.

Had a bit of a contact with Murphys early on in race 1... I saw his car loosen up and had no time to change my trajectory or slow down. For all that's worth I am sorry for the incident.
Had the mother of all distractions during lap 2 - a small seismic shock moving my chair around and killing my concentration. My pace for the remainder of the race was rubbish, I was doing 1:46s. Oh, well... #firstworldproblems, am I right?

It's been fun racing in the Miatas. The change in handling model and addition of a proper Cup car and circuits such as VIR and Watkins Glen made this much better than Season 1. Hopefully a Season 3 won't happen in another three years?
