Well, I thought I had good pace at Laguna until I saw everyone else's qualy times. lol. Damn....
Anyway, I was sorta mid-ish pack let's saw, behind Vape when I saw him roll off into the dirt after the fast left. I thought "ah ha! now I can make my move!" Well, turns out I made a move alright...a very stupid one. Trying to pass on the inside coming up to the corkscrew I was looking for the "3" sighn, because I brake just after it, but it was gone. Besides the fact that I should not have been anywhere behind Vape if I was going to try and out-brake him (stupid move #1), I should have picked a landmark (the hill sort of is, but not really) instead of relying on a sign (stupid move #2). So I ended up taking us both out. I did wait for a long while at the bottom, but Vape was too injured and I felt rotten. Glad he is ahead of me in points...he had better pace, but I owe a big apology. Anyway, the track is always fun and I had a good time. You all are fast as hell there. Look forward to RA

Well, OD, we've all had those moments and it always feel terrible . . .

Anyways, moving on to RA . . .

I saw "1:53" comment above so I had to see if I have the pace. 1:53 is a realistic goal.

I have my set-up shared but will also post my settings for those who would like to try.

I spent around 30 laps tuning and got it down to 1:54 I believe tried tweaking a lot of things and couldn't get my times any lower : (

I'm getting into 1:53 occasionally but can maintain 1:54. 1:52, I consider, very competitive.

Help! lol

You're on a wheel, right Blonde? If so, I think wheel users will just have to suffer until pCARS (hopefully). But I'll be happy to share. I'm on the TX and getting a 1:54 on good days.
Wed 22 Apr 2015, 22:38
No, I use the controller. Would be great to have a wheel but as Buzz proved on Saturday, they quite often have more headaches than they're worth.
Thu 23 Apr 2015, 01:22
My fastest time is 1.52.378. But I'm usually running in the 1.53s blonde I have my tune shared if u would like to try it.
Thu 23 Apr 2015, 02:15
I'll look it up, thanks!

And the money of course. You & others are so smooth w/ the pad. I'm always amazed with pad users who manage run smokeless or not turn at 45 deg.+0 in order move. I couldn't. FM5 has much gotten better w/physics, but it's particularly bad in other games (F1 2014). The pad users have so much more traction, ironically. The cars, however, are virtually impossible to drive on a wheel below 4th gear. So sad considering F1 2013 was such a good game. Personally, I could not feel like I was racing without a good wheel. I just need the immersion I guess. For sure, they do come with some headaches, but it's going to get better when the games get more sim-like, I think. I also see controllers quit, die, and lose battery power sometimes. The TX had never given me a problem in a race other than the sound issue at Indy.
