2017 Global Endurance Championship (PC & FM)

In 2014, it took Wagon/Dave/Blonde, Carter/Macace and Insayne/Woody/Nightmare 36 hours to earn the right the be called champions. In 2016, it took SECR (Copper/Marko) and SamKel (Samson/Maverick) 48 hours to earn that same right. We won't know until December who will add their names to the list of GSREC champions; but we do know it will take them a record 54 hours complete with all of the countless euphoric highs and crushing lows that come with multi-class P1 & GT racing on 6 of the world's greatest endurance race circuits.

Grab a friend or two (or drive solo if you have no friends) and get behind the wheel of one of today's finest LMP 1 or GT3 cars for the ultimate test of endurance.

This championship will again take place on both FM and PC, with 3 races taking place on FM (Daytona, Nurbugring and Road Atlanta) and 3 taking place on PC (Silverstone, Le Mans and Spa). This year, Silverstone will replace Sebring and Spa has been extended from a 6 hour to a 12 hour event.

February 11th - 12 Hours of Daytona (FM)
April 22nd - 6 Hours of Silverstone (PC)
June 10th - 12 Hours of Le Mans (PC)
August 12th - 6 Hours of Nurburgring (FM)
October 14th - 12 Hours of Spa (PC)
December 16th - 6 Hours of Road Atlanta (FM)

Yeah lifehigh consider yourself hired (by hired I mean bring sponsorship, preferably in the form of alcohol 😁)
It seeems I got the dates mixed up and I can race after all.

We are allowed to run 3 drivers are we not? Basher, are you up for running a few stints too??

Hey guys I've sent a message to a number of people on Xbox regarding a few words for a write up on going to do for the spa race . A bit of a preview of sorts . If I you didn't get one but would like something added can you get something sent over to me by pm by the middle of next week and I hope to have it ready to go Thursday night . Thanks

It's a known quantity at this point and we want to keep things fair for everyone through the entire season. Some people haven't bought the game yet, either.

Yes Dan I'll be there! I think Basher can only do one (first) stint and I'm hoping lifehigh is still up for doing a few stints. Regardless I'll do any/all the remaining stints as necessary.

Need to get some practice laps in, will be interesting going back to pcars1..

Yeah, I'm still down to run some stints. I went back and ran some practice today and seem to have lost about a second and a half per lap though. It was weird going backwards to pc1, hopefully I can find that missing pace. Sector 3 is my downfall.

What sorta times are you Audi drivers running?

Can we have a reserve driver in the lobby on PC?

I went back after a bit of a break, made a couple changes to the rear of the car, and got things back on track. I was getting 2:00.5xx fairly consistently, with a fast lap of 2:00.02. I stilled haven't broken that two minute mark though.

Not sure what our specific stint schedule looks like just yet, but the #8 First Capital Toyota will be out there this Saturday.

Remember to get your team stint schedule posted this Friday at the latest. Keep in mind that you do NOT NEED to stick to this stint schedule, it just gives the host an idea of who they are looking for before a stint. It also allows teams to match drivers for strategy purposes.
